Why are you conflating the two separate statements?
Because they are two different subjects.
They really aren't. Posting a saw and saying walls don't work is just saying that if someone really wants to break the law, they will find a way to do so. Just like someone who wants to go on a killing spree is going to ignore your stupid "gun free zone" signs. Yet you will never make the argument that gun free zones are a waste of time. You also intentionally (and dishonestly) fail to acknowledge that the wall is just a piece of the whole solution to reducing illegal immigration.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 8:33 amBecause they are two different subjects.

Nah, I worked with many in Florida. I can’t speak to craftsmanship, as the homes down there are all half ass anyway. But the average first-gen hombre outworks any 2 Americanos easily.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 7:43 amIn my experience, the meme that they work harder is just another of those propaganda myths belonging to the "everybody knows" category.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 6:52 amJust like any other race or ethnicity you get some who work hard and some that sponge off others. It's not all or nothing, but letting millions of people in that have little education, likely don't speak English, and have limited skills other than manual labor and you're going to get a large number of sponges.
Especially in construction, Mexicans will completely fuck up new constructions with half-assed workmanship that costs buyers bigly down the road.
It is yet another cost of this illegal colonization of the US that probably should get added on to the total bill and shoved down Subaru Flounder"s throat.
If a gun-free zone is just ''a stupid gun-free zone sign'' it is a total waste of time. If it had been enforced at the entrance to this garlic festival then the shooter would have been detained before he could shoot anyone.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 8:50 amThey really aren't. Going back to the beginning, your post with the saw is a dishonest hack bitch move and you know it.
That's just angry nonsense. You also intentionally (and dishonestly) fail to acknowledge that the wall is just a piece of the whole solution to reducing illegal immigration.

That's exactly what they are in the US. Buildings post signs on the doors saying "This place is firearm-free area". There are no scanners or security checking at 99% of the places with these signs posted.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 9:05 amIf a gun-free zone is just ''a stupid gun-free zone sign'' it is a total waste of time.
Bullshit. There are places that do searches for weapons upon entry, and no one is protesting or complaining about them.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 9:05 amOf course, your gun nuts would throw a fit about being searched for firearms and even lefty Americans would complain about ''big brother'' or some such shit.
Without going through 87 pages to find it, what measures are you referring to?Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 9:05 amAs forThat's just angry nonsense. You also intentionally (and dishonestly) fail to acknowledge that the wall is just a piece of the whole solution to reducing illegal immigration.
If you care to read my posts I have regularly stated that much more effective anti-illegal immigration measures are being underfunded due to Trump's vanity project.
Going after employers who give jobs to undocumented immigrants.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 9:14 amThat's exactly what they are in the US. Going after employers - Yes, we should be doing more of this, but it is offset by places like California offering up free healthcare, school and drivers licences to illegals. They won't need a job if the government hands everything they need to them.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 10:07 amGoing after employers who give jobs to undocumented immigrants.
Following up on visa overstays.
More border patrol officers.
All more effective than a wall.
"Hey you have a gun, stop. If you don't I'll say stop again!" Says no one... seriously, if anyone stopped him before he got in, he would have probably killed the people trying to stop him.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 9:05 amIf a gun-free zone is just ''a stupid gun-free zone sign'' it is a total waste of time.
