No you don't. You are conflating being properly informed with fear mongering.
Lies and misinformation is fear mongering.
Who determines what is information vs fear mongering?
Or maybe this would be more to the point: What mechanism prevents a government from sending votes back to the public until they get the desired result and then claiming "NOW the voters are properly informed and made the right decision". And how is a system without such a mechanism different from totalitarianism?
It has probably never entered Monte's mind that it might be him that is the victim of fear mongering.
No one has been able to show that leaving the UK will be better for the economy than staying.
No one has even been able to come up with an acceptable plan of how to leave.
Many have shown that crashing out with no deal will be catastrophic.
Project fear is a conspiracy theory concocted by people with no argument.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Yea, the idea of free, independent and sovereign nations is sooo untested. How would it even work? What a ridiculous notion.

...and so there needs to be another vote because of your "feelings"?
There we go folks... "democracy" Monty style, if he doesn't "feel" you made the "right" choice, according to his "feelings", then you need to keep voting until you agree with his feelz.

I'm sure it hasn't. I'm sure he "feels" otherwise.
Oh fuck off. I was asked for my feelings so I gave them.
I don't get to decide whether there is a 2nd referendum either. I do get to state my opinion on a political forum though.
If you have nothing but personal attacks you are bringing nothing to the conversation.

Parliamentary supremacy is not overruled by membership of the EU. That is why we have a veto, a separate currency and are not part of Schengen.
Of course we could survive out of the EU. That's not the question though. The question is will we be better off. Your feelings about globalism don't come into my decision process.

What kind of sustained delusion does one need to maintain in order to consistently believe not overturning a democratically-decided referendum is an assault on "democracy"?

Democracy did not end on 23rd June 2016.
Parliament can't agree on how to proceed so it's time to give the choice back to the people.

Will it end when one of your votes is overturned by system lethargy and sustained propaganda?
Or does your definition of democracy include some method of overturning votes until you get results you like?
I'm only familiar with our style in the US. I haven't been exposed to the vote, then delay-and-propagandize-before-revoting form of democracy.
You'll have to excuse my ignorance, I'm from a much younger country.
