No. Abortion is not infanticide. Infanticide is killing infants. The Netherlands practice infanticide, but most of the world do not: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groningen_Protocol

As for if abortion is right or wrong, that's another issue. It all depends if we consider a fetus a person. A lot of Catholics do, and abortion is therefore wrong.
If Catholics believe it is wrong then they shouldn't get abortions.

My understanding is that non-Catholics who choose to get abortions, "in his eyes" are sinners and won't get into heaven. Their choice though, right? And up to "him" to pass final judgment, not you?

Of course same with masturbating, coveting thy neighbor's spouse, being gay, and a whole host if other things that somehow don't seem to garner the same fervor as the abortion debate...
Catholic's are big on sin.
They are less big on declaring people specifically not going to heaven.
Protestants are bigger are the whole "YOU AREN'T GOING TO HEAVEN, A VERY SELECT FEW WILL BE SAVED"
Get the fuck out of here with that fucking horse shit.

And boy do they love reminding us.

Imagine for a moment that they’re right, and they’re actually going to heaven, while the rest of us burn for eternity. How much of a shithead do you have to be, to scream it at us all day, and make us feel worse?

And how many heaven points is that worth, with a god figure represented by a humble, penniless carpenter?
Just you cultists.

Our new Pope says fags and Jews go to heaven too. I guess that's against the jews' wishes since they never believed in one anyway but whatever. Everyone goes to heaven.

CATHOLIC RAINBOW POWER

Presbyterian priestesses are all lesbians tho so we aren't nearly as progressive as them yet.

Wait, what? That would be a apostasy moment. We could get him out of there for that.

Catholics are big on being very discriminate in determining who actually goes to Heaven and Hell. The Church identifies the saints as all having gone to Heaven either through martyrdom or by becoming holy in this life and demonstrating evidence of it via miracles. As far as I know, the Church only identifies one individual as having gone to Hell.

Christ, however, says very few people are going to Heaven.

In a perverse sense, the evil times that are upon us are a good thing for many Christians. Nobody has been martyred in the history of mankind like Christians are being martyred today. All those Christians being slaughtered by Muslims overseas, and indirectly by the democratic party in America, are going to Heaven.

What you said isn't true.

You should try living in America as a Catholic. You will encounter that attitude from Protestants very, very often.

I didn’t say lots of people do or do not go to heaven.
I said the Church isn’t big on saying specific people are in hell.
Puritan Protestants are all about condemning specific people.
The Church is all about condemning specific acts.

I suppose you can call it that if you want to, but then so is birth control.

Makes no difference to me what the label is.
As long as females not qualified to get into a Community College are able to decide if a human lives or dies that's the important thing.
A female unqualified to work at McDonalds can get pregnant. That is literally the power to create life.

Perhaps we should stop treating it like some sacred rite, and more like the biological function that it is. We are, at the base, no more than animals, wearing plant fibers. Even if abortions were free and practiced regularly, without restriction, we would be light-years beyond the natural world in caring for our offspring. Not to mention, less of a burden on each other.

Is it just a biological function to terminate a pregnancy ?
