Math, nuke math!

4,300 000 is a lot bigger than 900 000.

Hence in 40 years yes, the immigrant population (that isn't anymore first generation, but some even third generation) is a whopping 17% of the population.

To put this into context, in 40 years Denmark will have far more white people than you have NOW in Texas. Especially when those immigrant have also Germans and Poles, even Norwegians etc. counted into them. Your the one's losing your majority status, if it's so important to you.

Well, aside from the point that non-native Danes also include Poles, Germans, Swedes, Brits, Americans (who are mostly white immigrants to this country), or other European peoples, that the immigrant population will rise, doesn't mean there will be a Muslim majority.

(References provided will be in Danish. Not because I expect anyone to be able to read them, but it should be possible to google translate enough to know that any of my own translations or references aren't just made up.)

Well, to quote Hans Oluf Hansen himself: "There's a fine line between demography and demagogy" (1).

The "Danes will be a minority" story is from 2005, based on the 270,00 and 900,000 numbers cited. It ran in the conservative daily "Berlingske". In it the numbers used, were simply the current data. For example, the common tendency that second and third gen. immigrants are usually better integrated, have more workforce participation, etc. leads to women having children at the same rate as ethnically Danish women isn't taken into account. Only the data as is. It's a bit like making a projection about your farming yield on a dry summer day based on current temperatures, without taking into account that it may rain in the fall.

In 2017, Hans Oluf Hansen was interviewed on the matter again, this is the translated quote from that article:

(On being asked about the rise in immigrant birth rates in the country, he says he's not surprised)

He points to the fact that many of the Syrian refugees that have come to Denmark in the latest couple of years, are in the most fertile age. "Some refugess and immigrants do put children into this world, in this country, to try and cement their relationship to Denmark, but the main cause for the rise (of the birth rate), is the immigration itself", says Hans Oluf Hansen. Yet, he doesn't believe that that development neccesarily will continue, since fertility often changes in relation to how long a group has stayed in the country.

"If we assume that their fertility is high when they're at the border and want to enter Denmark, and that an ethnic group's fertility rate, depends on how long it's been in Denmark and has adapted to society and the fertility patterns here, then the length of stay in Denmark will be very deterministic for the fertility rate. Similarly, the movement patterns, both within and out of the country, also very quickly change due to political facts on the ground. If the situation in the homeland resolves, it will further change how the people are made up ethnically. The world is transmutable, and it is very hard to say anything about how it will evolve, even in the short term", says Hans Oluf Hansen. (2)
