Moot point, and 100% irrelevant to my initial statement.

You can have a bias and not be racist since there is a difference, which most people ignore.
the New Testament is contradictory none the less, only the Gospel of John claims that Jesus died for our sins

according to Jesus himself however, that wasn't what it was about
Under the emperor, Constantine, and the Council of Nicea... you are right. But the bible was written by man well after the actions happened. Either way a moot and irrelevant point either way.
the Council of Nicea didn't choose which Gospels are in the Bible

the Council of Nicea was formed simply to decide if Jesus was divine, was he the son of God, or not ?

They did it by deciding which gospels were allowed in the bible, because some gospels made him sound mortal.

no, that's not true, that's an 18th century myth, most recently propagated in America by Dan Brown in his book "The Da Vinci Code"

there was no single church authority which chose the Cannon, the Council of Nicea was not about that

Then explain the Nicene Creed...

as I said, the Nicene Creed states that Jesus is divine, the Son of God, but it did not select what was in the Canon

I do find the history of religions interesting.
Their evolution as it were.
All religions being man made*, the way they spread and change as they do and how they shape culture interests me from an anthropological point of view.
I now get the opposition by the likes of DSL and Dr Youth to guns, germs and steel because of its omission.

*I'm talking about the church here not faith
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

By proxy, you cannot have Jesus being mortal and divine at the same time.

and that was how the Trinity came about

the argument was that Jesus was either human or divine, he couldn't be both

so the Trinity was created to explain how he is Father, Son & Holy Ghost at the same time

the circle is squared when you accept that humanity itself is the divine miracle of the Creator : Intelligent Design

thus Jesus of Nazareth is divine by his humanity

Wow... not sure how I missed that, but yeah, I also thought that's where the New Testament was canonized. It's a popular misconception. One I held myself until about 5 mins ago. Fascinating.
