The only part that matters is how the military splits.
And they’ve gone a long way to making sure it stays on their side.

Yeah, I am a bit skeptical that blue states got noticeably more blue beyond normal variance. I do know Florida became noticeably much more red, so I'm a bit more ready to believe red states became more red. The overall trend was towards red, even if it wasn't as strong as people hoped.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 2:00 pmGood point.TheOneX wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 1:58 pmDoes he have statistics on this?Martin Hash wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 12:21 pmThis morning, Steve Turley diagnosed it, and I agree: the Red states got redder & the Blue states got bluer; we’re headed for civil war.
I was more taken by the concept than critical. He mentioned 3 or 4 examples but that’s not enough.

Perhaps east/west. I know too many in the center that will take out their own company than let them draw a gun on a civilian.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 2:48 pmThe only part that matters is how the military splits.

Can anyone explain why some states take so long to count, while other states can do it in just a few hours?

Got to be able to print out the fake ballots to find when you are losing.

And another thing, how is this Mary Peltola lady in Alaska getting so many votes when her senate counterpart can't even must 10% of the vote? Again she got very few votes in the primaries, but then gets tons of votes in the special election and the mid-term election. Something fishy just seems to be going on. Based on the primary I would have expected her to be more like her Senate counterpart than actually putting up a fight. Hopefully, the instant runoff corrects itself.

Some interesting (but not surprising) numbers based on exit polling:
68% of unmarried women voted Democrat
Voters between the ages of 18 and 29 cast their ballots in favor of Democrats 63 percent of the time in the 2022 elections.
These will be the same ones bitching the loudest about how everything is unaffordable in the coming months.
