So in politics often the best way to get what you want isn't a direct attack, but an indirect attack that has the same consequences. I had a thought on the recent Disney issue. Most of the attacks on Disney are directed at Disney, which I do not think is a bad thing in this case. At the same time, we need to remember all entertainment in the US goes through a ratings system. There are different systems for different mediums. Entertainment corporations are all very aware of these ratings systems, and care very much about getting the rating they desire because it does have an effect, especially on movies. So along with attacking Disney, we really should also be pressuring the TV ratings organization to give the equivalent of a PG or PG-13 rating for anything that includes anything that is promoting an LGBT+ agenda. We would need to make a more concrete standard of what we are looking for than just "promoting an LGTB+ agenda". If we could make that happen it wouldn't just affect Disney, it would affect every major corporation.
