They need to ban under 18 usage of any and all social media. It needs to be a law and you should have to verify your age to have a social media account. It's a heavily psychologically conditioning phenomena. Different than an addiction but as deadly and damaging.

That's crazy talk. I don't want to have to verify my age with governement because of "the children." This is a parental problem not a "there aren't enough laws" problem.

Social media won’t stop being all-consuming until there’s something equally compelling to replace it. Having grown up in an age of Boy Scouts, Little League, Stringray exploring, Woodstock girls & going to the movies; I was bored; social media would still have reigned supreme.

Yeah, I have heard all of that before. How about no. Figure out a way to make people be better parents that doesn't require my submission to the State.
