Cars will proabably get a head start over spaceships.
I realize we are early in the game here. But the machine learning is moving quickly.
Machines are on the verge of surpassing humans in recognition tasks and translation/transcription... this has happened pretty quickly.
They don't need to be embodied and self aware to have a major impact on our societies.
