It’s going to get much worse. At this point we cannot rule out hyperinflation. If you would have a doomsday clock for hyperinflation it would be at 2 minutes until midnight and entire world is screwed if we go into hyperinflation. The Conservative wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 3:24 pmNear where I live. There is a time for good men to do bad things.

I wouldn't put it at 2 minutes to midnight, we are still near 5 minutes... We haven't even gotten close to full fuckery yet.SilverEagle wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 7:06 amIt’s going to get much worse. Bring on hyperinflation - let’s rip the bandaid off quickly. I only have about 1-2 years of stockpile.

Price update on this. As of 2 weeks ago the price went up again, this time to $6.09. We got in at that price. This week it's up yet again to $6.29.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 8:01 amPrice update: We are soooooooo fucked.
Flooring we were looking at that was $5.20 a sq. ft. LAST WEEK is now $5.99.
I have a feeling we are going to see price increases in even larger chunks, coming in at faster rates. Instead of increases of 5% a quarter, we'll just get 8% a month.
That's $5.20 to $6.29 within 60 days. Guy who owns the store says he's trying to eat as much cost as possible to keep prices down, but increases are still coming.

Re: Supply Chain Shortages and Inflation
Another personal encounter to share.
I only use FB for buy/sell/trade groups now. A couple I have been a part of for a while now are seeing a big spike in people trying to sell along with a big drop in people willing to buy. Sales on "like to have" items are already coming to a halt. People are hurting and/or spooked and are giving up on the "fun" purchases.
People on the edge are quickly going to go over. Some may already be past it. Panic is about to set in for them, which will creep up into the middle class real quick.
