Yeah, that was one of Dan's biggest faults, too agreeable in the face of disagreement. When me and you are on the opposite side of a disagreement, it emboldens me because it usually means I am debating a strong position that I disagree with and can refine my approach, I always tried to see it as an opportunity for iron to sharpen iron, and took my defeats in stride, instead of holding a grudge.
Yeah, but he's no threat, so I didn't mean to take him down, it was reflexive

He would have been more of threat, if he wasn't so prone to obsequious agreement. If he hadn't been so damn agreeable, he'd have gotten better training and been more formidable.

I'm not so sure that a Caesar appearing would be so bad. It would free the prole from the burden of having to be concerned with policy. Politician's wouldn't be falling over themselves to pander to the masses. Doesn't sound so bad. I'm not sure being "woke" to politics has been a net benefit in my life, anyway.

Woe be to the Centurions in the front lines, Caesar had no time for whinging

Team Hash is where it's at, he doesn't shut down his forum to duck Nukedog. Hash has fuck you money, unlike Carlin, so he doesn't need to do that, can't secure your other rights without property rights, like you say.

Cheers to Marty Hash and the Fuck You Money he rode in on.

Hash just lives well and makes no apologies for it and in fact provides an example as to how it is done

He also wasn't afraid to go out in front of them to inspire them. I mean, I'm sure they were afraid he'd have them all crucified if they didn't help him and he somehow survived, but still.

They weren't using Greek tactics by the first century, Alexander went in front, Caesar never did

The front at this point was like a well oiled machine with Legios operating in ranks, meatgrinder

Most Praetors hung way back in the Praetorium,

Ceasar got as close as a General could, which was right behind the well oiled machine

Makes sense. But I'm still not following on why a modern Caesar would be any worse than what we have now. I mean, we have kids who patrol the same stretch of desert as their fathers. That's not exactly keeping us away from foreign wars.

It's okay to not like Trump, it's when you do so for the most idiotic reasons possible that you move into Trump Derangement.
