Alec Baldwin lying about not pulling the trigger
Depending on the gun, you can have the hammer fire the round... but even if he didn't pull the trigger, he shot the gun.
What if it was a Pietta .45 Colt Army Single Action, built off the original Colt plans ? Would that gun fire a round without pulling the trigger ?
Remind me again, does that have a half-cock function, or is it one or the other... it's been a while since I've seen an original colt...

Watch a little of the video. He explains it all.

That's why I posted the video, so I didn't have to explain it.

I did watch it, and honestly... I don't believe him, he is too practiced to give a straight answer. He knows how to say something without saying it.

No idea, that is why I was ending it with a questionmark.

Finally in the market for my first pistol. Looking at either a Canik TP9 SA or a SAR B69BL.

Anybody have any suggestions, or comments? I'm not looking to spend over $500.

How I go about it

1. The gun needs to fit your hand well, you need to be comfortable with it

I have no real familiarity with either of those guns. The Canik looks like a Glock clone and and the SAR looks like a Browning High Power Clone. Sorry I can't help more.

I have a caniq. Feels pretty sweet, simple to use, no safety. Would recommend, but I don’t have experience with other guns.

My strategy was to walk up to the counter with $500 cash in my pocket. I asked ‘what do you recommend at $500?’
Then ‘what’s the next model down from there?’ Bought that and a box of ammo.

Done deal, no need to fuss until you know what you’re doing. No paper trail that I bought it, other than the form to check my background.
