Investment
Yo I'm in a weird predicament. I can't have a bank without a residential address according to federal law, I was just informed. I've gotten around it in the past because typically they don't really check that kind of shit but I guess because of the new terrorism mainframe bullshit they are cracking down now idk.
Anyway, I get payed on my pay card which is fine but I can't move my money around now to invest. I would like to invest in something like the s&p500 or a bunch of shares for Public Storage which collect dividends. How the heck do I move my money off my pay card without having to do a ton of ATM withdrawals and handing cash to someone to invest it?
What are your thoughts on buying the stock market or bitcoin anyway? What about physical silver or gold just to store my money on? I know I will get raped in merchant transactions but it looks like no matter what I do thats going to happen.

Doesn't have to do with your address. Melungeons don't get bank accounts.

I don't know anything about pay cards, man.
But precious metals are good for preserving your wealth, not growing it reliably.
Here's a few ETFs that index the S&P 500
And there are ETFs that also index dividend stocks, dividend growth, and dividend yields if you're looking to spread out the risk.
Stock market for growth (with risk of loss)
Metals for preservation (with small gains and small losses over time - generally)
Crypto for gambling - high risk high reward (or loss)
Good luck.

It's worse than you thought.

Your human resources department may be able to provide a support animal to help with your feelings of alienation.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 12:19 pmI looked it up. I think I'm ok with it. good doggo FTW
How about a PayPal account to move money around? IDK if it would do what you want, but I use a PayPal account for some ebay stuff and since my daughter went off to college it's an easy way for me to send her cash. It's a free transfer from account to account and instant. She has a PayPal debit card she could then use immediately in an emergency or a PayPal transfer goes into her regular bank account overnight. Whether this kind of account can be used to send money to an investment account, iunno. There may be a way to issue checks from it, like buying a cashier's check.
