Re: Joe Rogan (JRE)
Anyone listen to Joe Rogan interview Lawrence Lessig.
It was a great interview.
Made me nostalgic for the good ol' days when Dan Carlin talked about corruption.
Lessig really seems to know his shit.
Apparently he has a podcast... anyone listened to it?
Does he have a forum?

Here's Lawrence Lessig's podcast.
He's like Dan Carlin but smarter and less despondent.... and not super late to put out his next history podcast.
Anybody find him interesting.
Or are y'all past being interested in this kind of thing.

Re: Joe Rogan (JRE)
Listened to Joe Rogan interview Ben Shapiro
It was interesting to see Joe Rogan's left worldview intersect with Shapiro's right worldview in this interview.
The one point that they had trouble with was that of homosexuality.
Rogan despite himself kept coming back to Shapiro in a repeated effort to try to convert him on the topic.
Give Shapiro credit for standing his ground.
I would say what allows them to have this rare amicable conversation between left and right is the common ground that right and left can share in the terrain of libertarianism.
Worth checking out.

Pretty good stuff. JBP was fanboi the whole time. Rogan is about as weird as one would expect a taekwondo nerd / stand up comic to be. His story of how he stumbled into success in Hollywood was interesting.Hastur wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 6:00 amIn a little switcharoo JBP interviews JR

JBP is a good interviewer. That should come as no surprise, being a clinical psychologist must involve a lot of the same skills. I like how he even got JR to cry.Fife wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 6:18 amPretty good stuff. JBP was fanboi the whole time. Re: Joe Rogan (JRE)
Agreed -- and how he tactfully backed away when Joe said he didn't feel anything at all about not seeing or speaking with his dad since he was like 7 or thereabouts was interesting.
Those couch guys can teach a lot to litigators about how to conduct depositions and cross-examinations. And sometimes they do.
