Late Cycle Capitalism
As we approach the end of yet another Fed Bubble, let’s all enjoy some schadenfreude at the ridiculousness.
First example - Tesla.
Promised 5,000 cars/week last year, hasn’t cracked 500. Built a gigantic tent factory, appears to be a complete sham.

Seems that the Fed has decided to prop up the tech sector, at all cost. Always the last thing to fall, while the big money evacuates.

The 'Relative Strength Index' of the "most shorted" stocks has never been higher and each time it has reached this level, stocks have fallen hard.
But as a reminder - amid all of this - The Dow is down for the 7th day in a row, its longest losing streak in 18 months.

I continue to be surprised Tesla has the political support that they do.

People want change. Once the sham collapses though, the big auto makers will regain control.

Good policy. I really want Tesla to succeed too, but it looks like he can't back up his promises. Now, he's moved into outright fraud, to keep the plates spinning.nmoore63 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:24 amI don't buy stock in "cool" companies.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:22 amPeople want change. Oh indeed. It might be something he says, it might be something somebody else says, but he could be public enemy no 1 by this time tomorrow.

GM might be planting the #MeTwo accusatory secretary at this very moment.
