The turkeys where I live walk right by people. It almost seems like you could walk up to one and beat him to death with a stick, but after seeing that video, I wonder if all his buddies would attack you.

Or it could just be emergence with these turkeys- no rituals or doomsday predictions but something that we think would look like a ritual isn't really a ritual at all.
