California just passed a Bill to open up payments to college athletes. $5000 a year.

North Carolina is following suit, and you can be assured Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Texas won't be far behind.

The NCAA said this is Unconstitutional.

So the cat is out of the bag. It should be interesting to see where this goes.

Looking good, Sacramento.

Progressivism Without Guard Rails
California’s Legislature embraces far-ranging measures that will disrupt the gig economy, depress housing markets, and destroy school discipline.

The last week of the legislative session always is a wild ride, but this year’s proceedings take on an urgency that we haven’t seen in the past several years given the stridently more progressive tilt of the state government.

It’s reminiscent of my favorite scene from Seinfeld, when George Costanza pretends he’s signing papers on a house in the Hamptons. He vows to drive to the new house with the parents of his late fiancée, who know there is no such house. “All right, you wanna get nuts? Come on,” he says as they jump in the car. “Let’s get nuts!”

Boy, is California getting nuts.

It's coming to Nash Vegas - you already have progressive spores taking hold.

This is what happens when you question the wisdom of holding a Demon Tranny Story Hour in California.

Public libraries FTW. California is the canary in the coal mine for what little is left of civilization.

That's what I thought too until I went there recently. I was kind of shocked it wasn't on fire with aids. It just keeps on working

Sexually transmitted diseases reached epidemic levels in California last year, with three STDs hitting their highest levels in the state in 30 years, according to a report released Tuesday.

For 2018, the California Department of Public Health[2] saw an increased number of reported syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia cases.

The number of cases also rose significantly from a decade ago.

Syphilis had the most dramatic spike over the 10-year period in terms of percentage; the 25,344 diagnoses represents a sharp rise of 265% from 2008, according to the report.

Chlamydia had the most cases last year with 232,181, up 56% over the past decade. And there were 79,397 cases of gonorrhea, 211% more than 10 years ago.

But what was particularly concerning for health officials was the number of congenital syphilis diagnoses which rose 14% from the previous year and increased for a sixth consecutive year. Since 2012, the number of infants diagnosed with the potentially lethal disease skyrocketed 900%.
