Too bad that demographic ain't worth the hair on a rhesus monkey's balls in the states.
He played it perfectly in the States, you project your own thoughts on this matter on the general public, but not everyone thinks like you do DB, no one gives a shit about what Jerry Jones did, they care about what the other teams did, because they were infinitely more disrespectful to the national anthem. Anyone who is mad at him, is far more mad at all the other owners, so he comes out of it looking pretty good by comparison, even to those hating on him right now.

Kneeling isn't the issue, the timing of the kneeling is the issue, and most Americans feel that way too, if the kneeling doesn't occur during the anthem, they get a pass, that's the way it works. Whether kneeling of any kind rubs you the wrong way or not, that thought process is not shared by the rest of your country, you're in the minority.

Indeed.
Clearly you have your finger on the pulse of America.

Must be why the NFL ratings are going through the roof.

That had nothing to do with the actions of Jerry Jones or the Dallas Cowboys, and everything to do with the way all the other teams played this, and you know that, you're just trolling for lulz.

You should be applauding Jerry Jones for making all the other owners look like fools, but you'd rather troll me about being a "subservient Canadian" instead, which is odd.

Bring Jerry Jones to the forum, I’ll troll him too.

Well, you’ve cornered the market on kneeling so I had to stake out my own territory.

Still pretending that the timing of the kneelers protests deliberately coinciding with the playing of the national anthem at a public venue, that isn't the issue. It's really just all about kneeling at any time being a big no-no in America eh?

I'm surprised you are deriving this much entertainment out of this obvious act of yours.

ESPN Suspends Jemele Hill Two Weeks for Violating Social Media Policy

Of all its selective discipline for on-air talent over the years, ESPN management has made it very clear that the subject where it offers little flexibility for employees is when management believes an employee has said something that could impact the company’s bottom line.

On Monday afternoon the network suspended commentator Jemele Hill for two weeks for a series of tweets she made Sunday night calling for an advertiser boycott of the Cowboys following Dallas owner and GM Jerry Jones saying his players will stand for the national anthem and not disrespect the flag, and if they do, the player or players will not play.

Hill said that a more powerful protest than Cowboys players Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott personally boycotting would be to stop watching and buying Cowboys merchandise.

“If you strongly reject what Jerry Jones said, the key is his advertisers,” Hill tweeted at 10:50 p.m. ET Sunday. “Don't place the burden squarely on the players." Responding to a tweet from a Twitter follower that listed some Cowboys' sponsors, Hill tweeted, "This play always work. Change happens when advertisers are impacted. If you feel strongly about JJ's statement, boycott his advertisers."

Well . . . that's kinda fucked up. I mean, after she called the president a white supremacist and ESPN didn't bat an eye how was she supposed to know that ESPN wasn't her personal social activism platform? I mean - they sort of pulled a bait and switch on her here, wouldn't you say? How you going to let Jamele use your channel as her personal SJW megaphone only to turn around and punish her for calling for a boycott?

Lots of mixed signals coming out of that useless company these days.
