I don't have any sympathy for monuments of any kind on "public" ground. I say sell off the Washington monument to the highest bidder and send the proceeds to every citizen, pro rata. That goes for "public" cemeteries as well. However, what is done by way of memorials or burial on private property is nobodies business.
Again, hard to take the political temperature of the silent majority, but in 48 hours how many statues have come down, how many GOP heavy hitters have joined the MSM in open condemnation of the alt-right?
