DEMOCRAT VICTORY !

Gov. Jim Justice of West Virginia, a Democrat who was elected last year even as President Trump carried the state by 42 points, is switching parties from Democrat to Republican.

McMaster has to Go
http://redstatewatcher.com/article.asp?id=88870

In April of 2017, that's right 2017 HR McMaster issued Susan 'Unmasking' Rice, Total Unfettered access to US Intelligence.
The undated and unclassified letter from McMaster was sent in the mail to Rice's home during the last week of April. Trump was not aware of the letter or McMaster’s decision, according to two Senior West Wing officials and an intelligence official, who spoke to Circa on condition that they not be named.

This is the letter from McMaster to Rice. Names, phone numbers and personal addresses have been blurred.

“I hereby waive the requirement that you must have a ‘need-to-know’ to access any classified information contained in items you 'originated, reviewed, signed or received while serving,' as National Security Adviser,” the letter said. The letter also states that the “NSC will continue to work with you to ensure the appropriate security clearance documentation remains on file to allow you access to classified information.”

Circa revealed in March that during President Obama’s tenure, top aides -- including Rice, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch -- routinely reviewed intelligence reports received from the National Security Agency’s incidental intercepts of Americans abroad. They were doing so by taking advantage of rules Obama relaxed starting in 2011 to help the government better fight terrorism, espionage by foreign enemies and hacking threats, according to documents obtained by Circa.

Childless McMaster, wifeless McMaster, pro tranny McMaster is just another liberal cog and is no conservative in any sense. Much less the almost pejorative sense we are stuck with trying to counter """progressives""" with.

He must go and go soon.

Well, McMaster might be fired just like Comey, or sent to Afghanistan as one rumour puts it. It's likely when the Trump administration continues to crash, likely Trump will lose his trust in generals and switch to Scaramuchi-type sycophants.

But at least McMaster got support against the Flynnstones and the leaking Trump gang with the Kelly appointment. Go generals!
(American Conservative) So the simple explanation is that McMaster fired these people because they were producing garbage analysis. More generally, these firings are happening because McMaster is weeding out some of the holdovers from the brief Flynn era and because he is asserting more control in the National Security Council. The less influence Flynn appointees have on our foreign policy, the better it is for the country
(see McMaster Cleans House)

And of course when Flynn was entangled so much with the Russians, it's no wonder that the Pentagon is trying to cleanse away the remaining "Flynnstones".
Kelly told McMaster this week that he wanted him to remain as national security adviser, said two senior White House aides, and has encouraged him to make any staffing changes he deems necessary. McMaster took that as a green light this week to oust top intelligence aide Ezra Cohen-Watnick — a Michael Flynn hire who has a warm relationship with Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law — after months of trying.
(see Kelly gives McMaster cover in West Wing battles)

And anyway, if Trump in the end fires McMasters, that may not in the end be anything bad on one's CV afterwards.

The US Senate shocked and amazed at the quality of President Trumps recommended appointments has approved 65 appointments in ONE DAY, by Unanimous Vote.
Washington Examiner, by Susan Ferrechio

The U.S. Senate confirmed more than five dozen Trump Administration nominees Thursday, reflecting a deal between Republicans and Democrats that will let lawmakers in both parties return home for the summer. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell moved the nominations in a large package agreed to by voice vote, meaning no senators objected. Among those confirmed were former Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, a Republican of Texas, who will be Trump´s ambassador to NATO. Democrats agreed to move the nominees forward quickly, ending months of delays and obstructions to nearly every single Trump nominee. Schumer had been dragging out the process of confirming
As Trump has been so slow to nominate people into government positions, I guess they have to do a lot of catching up.

Anyway, this is good news.
