Well, I have been saying that for years. How indeed should we all be in the same country..
To be fair, the UK is slightly larger than just one of our medium-sized states.
It's basically like Florida but a bit north and on the wrong side of the Atlantic.

I mean.. I used to date a chick in South Beach while I was working in defense on the Space Coast. That would be like working in Edinburgh and then driving down to London Friday after work to bang your chick over the weekend, only to drive back up and repeat.
Most of the professionals who work in Chicago live in the far suburbs to get away from the crime and liberals, which would be like commuting from Liverpool to Manchester every weekday.
