Good question, probably just confirmation bias

All the retards on my facebook are virtue signalling to high hell, law school valedictorian just precisely said that confederate symbols are neo-nazi symbols, and his balls were cupped by many

I think this last election cycle proved that the media, GOP, and social networking rejects can be absolutely wrong about the political temperature in America. So I'm not discounting the possibility that maybe America is shifting more to the right. I'm just wondering if anyone has any verifiable indicators that this is the case, aside from feelz.

On the other hand, we've got male Engineers being fired from Google for proposing rational debate on gender-based hiring, Confederate statues falling like dominoes, a lionized left energized by a douchebag mowing down innocents in Charleston, and alt-right folks are dancing around like their asses aren't being empirically whooped at every turn.

So . . . I have no idea what the political temperature of the "silent majority" is. But I do see who is racking up victory after victory in the streets and in the corporate boardrooms.

I have a hunch the shift is rightward, but again, can't trust myself, confirmation bias.

We're in trouble, traditionally, an external threat would be concocted to unify a nation, and right here and now, I don't even think nuclear war would draw us together

I mean, raise your hand in here if you would cheer if NYC nuked?

The Donald is not a monolith to actual Americans. Actual Americans would jettison his ass so fast under the right circumstances that it would make Jake Tapper's dick swing for 2 weeks.

The Donald is not "the Right."

The Donald is an agent of the state, make no mistake.

"The Right" is an amazing boogieman that has been dreamed up by NY, DC, SF, LA, et al. "The Right" has no real meaning, current year, other than as a Marxist construct.

Trump is President.

Now you might argue that they're losing ground, but by any metric, that's only after they had a huge victory. Republican president, Republican legislature, and they got their supreme court pick.

Doesn't matter - country is structurally unsound because the left has been slowly trying to destroy the traditional image of America. Those who like traditional America are going to make a stand.....

As much as I hate NYC culture, it would take a truly sick individual to cheer the death of 10-15 million Americans. That said, I will jokingly say 'fuck yeah', at the hypothetical. Is there an option for nuking their culture only?

Regarding the Silent Majority temp, they are definitely paying attention. The SJW statue-pulling is being discussed in the lunchroom here, and probably across the country. Yet, they remain politically silent. The vast majority of Americans aren't out marching and holding signs, or running down protesters, they're humping a 9 to 5 and supporting their families.

Come voting time, you will not see an SJW victory though, outside of NYC and LA, I can assure you. They've gone too far now. And, since the DNC seems determined to double down on that particular form of insanity, and the RNC is destined to shock-jock as hard as they can on Trump's coattails, we can expect a hard swing to the Right in American politics for the next few years.

Perhaps we get a whole lot more moderate, after the wild swings are over, or perhaps we institute Abrahamic Law all over the place and stone gays and adulterers... Time will tell.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.
