Yep I hadn't noticed that one, should be a ratio of 4 or 5 to one compared to the throwing end.
One of the two left is really obvious the other is more technical.....

I noticed the counterweight/fulcrum issue. No sure idea on the other two, but the pouch and the sling aren't distinguished like they are on the basic trebuchet diagram google showed me.

That's pretty much one of them, there is no rope attached to the sling and it is too short. I've no idea what the double rope attached to the bottom of the sling is meant to be.
One left and this is the easy one.....

lolwut??

Anyway, the weight is attached directly to the arm, and under the fulcrum. There's no way it moves the arm whatsoever.

Ok I'll rephrase that, the pouch has no rope between it and the end of the beam, the rope attached to the bottom of the pouch has no purpose.
I think this picture was drawn by someone who had heard of a trebuchet but had no idea of the details of how they worked and had definitely never built one.

Come on, the 3rd and most obvious mistake is practically impossible, would never happen and is a health and safety risk to the men cocking the weapon.

No one thought it odd that the projectile was already in the sling before they had cocked the trebuchet?
Never mind the effort it would have taken to get it up there it would be bloody dangerous to stand underneath it.

Who ever drew it was obviously one of these
