The price of freedom is that some people are going to abuse it. Sometimes criminally so.

People just need to realize that yes, people are going to be more deadly if they have access to guns. No we shouldn't restrict access to guns because people shoot up schools. I'm not a fan of sacrificing freedom for a bit of security. If felons serve their time, then they should have all of their rights restored, including their 2nd amendment rights. Mental disabilities should not disallow you from having guns.

Purchasing and owning guns is a right in America. There should be little to no "backround" checks or hoops to jump through for exercising our essential rights. Fuck backround checks. Anyone who isn't in prison or in jail, should be allowed to own and use guns.

Seriously, how can you have little kids and not take epidemic disease seriously? I know you're too young to remember measles, but you don't want that anywhere near your family. That's the last universal serious disease I remember, but it shouldn't have to be in your living memory to know that those are the real threats in life.

The largest pool of unvaccinated kids in my area are homeschooled evangelical christians. They are not of the Democratic persuasion.

Do you know what epidemiology Is? Or the role the CDC continues to play in attempting to eradicate polio? Or any of the other potential epidemics that threaten your kids?
