To be fair I did ask politely in the OP of the Olympics thread I started after the first thread got filled up with NHL talk. Is that too much to ask for? I love the Olympics as much as you love hockey and good sportsmanship dictates that I don't try to spoil your enjoyment and you try not to spoil mine.

You have my respect, but I don't understand why only your favoured topic is protected but no one elses is.

There are literally dozens of threads where hockey interrupts the flow of the conversation for me in topics I love.

If you guys can't handle a thread about something you hate existing, Capps is right, I won't be able to stop it literally. I can cause chaos, though, and for everyone but you two, it will be hilarious. So, a good time will be had by all.
