Because you are paid by the hour, your weekly working hours are highly regulated and limited. If you do go over 40 hours, you get time and a half pay. The professional man is expected to put in probably far more hours than you and he doesn't get extra pay for working through the weekends. He has responsibilities too.

I don't think you have quite as easy as you think. The pay might be shitty, but hard? Probably not.

I am not saying you got a great deal either. But come on. Go enlist in the Army before you get too old if you don't like this.

If you want to work more than 40 hours every single week, become the average professional, dude. I don't think you realize how nice you got it in terms of hours. You probably will get lit the fuck up for this in the morning by a lot of grumpy office workers in the forum who work closer to 60 hours and more per week.
