Never heard of it. We do have a good local joint called The Pit though.Zlaxer wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:In bulk:

North fort Myers has one that should be on the list - Smokin' Pit I think.Speaker to Animals wrote:I saw a list somewhere that ranked BBQ restaurants by polling cooks or something like that. Most of the top five were in Florida.

I would tell people not to play with that shit. You get a cheesesteak in your neck of the woods, you'll like it and you will convince yourself that if ever in the area you'll have to get a real one. You'll get one taste of a real one and you will curse that abortion that crossed your lips at home. Better to try the real one first and then find one at home and eat it with a sense of longing knowing one day you'll return for a real and have it take it's rightful place in your stomach.GrumpyCatFace wrote: - Philly cheesesteaks have nothing to do with an Italian beefs, other than being from a cow and on a long bun. Go have one, and you'll understand.
The sauce is awesome. It just belongs on like a sandwich or something. The spice crust on Carolina BBQ is disgusting. It's juicy, but a mouthful of pepper is just not appealing.heydaralon wrote:I'm just glad we settled the sauce issue and that we all agree that Carolina is the best. I can tolerate other sauces, but they are eating the dust of the Carolina King.
