Lmfao

Several people have posted links to the commonly defined boundaries of the generations. At this point it has become apparent we are arguing with people's feelings and personal opinions of how the generations should be defined regardless of the common definitions.

At least be upfront and admit you don't agree with the common definitions of these generations. Pretending like we are wrong when we have all the sources, and obvious fact of how these generations are popularly defined, is getting tiresome.

We've had theee people tell you their parents aren't boomers. And I prefer gen Y for the early millenials anyway. Two completely different things. Like they had just started on us but it didn't take long I guess. We still had BB gun fights and parents weren't sue happy.

And I have told you probably six times that outliers don't changet the trend. One of my parents is a boomer, but my generation was greatly influenced by the far more predominant silent generation parents.

You are not reading a word anybody writes about this. You confuse a tree with a forest and repeat the same irrelevant statement over and over.

The predominant parents of your generation are boomers. That's a fact. Gen X was too young unless, like your parents, they conceived as teens. Only at the borders do you see one or maybe both parents as the previous generation.

It literally makes no sense to frame millinneals as predominantly antly the children of Gen X. Go to any online encyclopedia to confirm this fact.

Nah I'm reading what your posting. It's just been pointed out three times how your model is not correct. And it's just a theory anyway. Not the best theory but whatever.

Jesus Christ. You obviously are not reading a word I write. I never claimed every millinneal has to have boomer parents. There obviously are outliers. We are talking about general trends that define a generation, not your personal life story.

Your self-absorption is one of those traits your generation inherited from boomers. You may not have boomer parents, but you were acculturated into a generation that was predominantly influenced by boomer parents. A generation of helicopter parents, participation trophies, and safe spaces. This is the boomer legacy.

It's not about you personally. It's ironic that a boomer wrore You're So Vain. You probably think all this discussion about entire generations is about you personally (it's not).

It's hilarious to me that the boomers and millinneals in this thread take all this shit personally, as if anything we say about their generation must be true of them. It really is hilarious even if you cannot understand why.

Gen Z here, with late gen x parents. Take from that what you will.

I think there is one flaw in the stats posted so far- people in high school now think of themselves as millennials, not gen z. 1992 is the earliest I have ever seen for a millennial cutoff, and it is certainly be rejected by the 18-20 year olds born eight years later.
