In contrast? Santa Cruz, is pretty much an extension of San Francisco, it's all whackadoodles there. Too bad, SC is gorgeous.

California's interior is Trump country. 4 and a half million people voted for him there, with another half a million for Johnson. It's basically another country once you hop over the coastal range.

Read 11 Nations of America. The people on the eastern side of the mountains are Far Westerners. That area was settled mainly by Appalachians and Midlanders if I am not mistaken. The coastal areas were settled by Yankees.

I lived in SC for 6 years. Despite the high level of population retardation, its still my favorite part of all of California.

Yeah, Santa Cruz is awesome, and 5 mins north of the city there are some fantastic beaches, its just a beautiful, beautiful place.

I'll check it out. I know a lot of the San Joaquin valley was settled by Okies during the dust bowl, coming to pick fruit.
