atanamis rarely posts here and rarely did on the DCF, but when he does it's usually high quality and he gets mad respect as a result. He's been doing it for years. You don't have to post as prolifically as nukedog or Dr. Strangelove to get dap around here, quality trumps quantity and if you post quality consistently that doesn't go unnoticed.

If you post here long enough though you're going to get insulted mercilessly about something you said that gets ridiculously misconstrued, it comes with the territory, it isn't unique to any of you guys, and it isn't attributable to a bubble that hates different ideas, we just like to troll regulars sometimes, especially when we know it gets under their skin. It happens.

Nothing wrong with an ever evolving consensus that can be freely challenged with new ideas at any time. If you don't like what you consider to be the consensus on a certain topic, then challenge it. Whining that a consensus is challenging new beliefs is not a valid criticism of that consensus.
