My biggest complaint about Islamic society at the moment is their ridiculous hypocrisy. There are plenty of traditional societies and tribes that live in the Amazon or New Guinea that have an entirely different belief system than the West. That is completely reasonable. They do not care about the West, and they do attempt to be like the West. What is completely unreasonable is when societies like those in the Middle East badmouth the West and denounce its excesses, while simultaneously using the innovations of the West and preying on its tolerance. Many jihadists preachers encourage muslims to immigrate to Western countries and utilize as many government programs as possible. They are fine with getting on British or Swedish welfare, being treated by Western medicine, and borrowing democracy when it suits them. Even the weapons that ISIS and AQ uses are often manufactured in the West (AK's being the exception). Ironically, AQ and ISIS terrorist ideology and models are often shoddy imitations of Marxist thought, which is also a Western invention.
If you hate the West and its beliefs, that is fine. I'm not claiming our models are universal or would work everywhere. But don't talk shit about the West and bring up the Crusades, and then attempt to live in Western society and reap the rewards that come with it while refusing to even alter your beliefs. Many Middle Eastern people are envious of the high standards of living that are endemic in Europe and the United States, but they want to bring all of their cultural baggage when they come here. It has never occured to them that their treatment of women, their hostility to innovation and new ideas and many basic civil liberties might be what is holding them back. And we are expected to roll out the red carpet for them. Islamic newspapers print antisemitic cartoons on a daily basis, but if you mock the prophet Mohamed hoolocaust parallels are drawn. Rapes are covered up. Terrorism is always put into context. It is never Islam's fault. There is always some historical reason why killing innocent taxpayers can be qualified. Christianity has committed atrocities in the past, and I am fine with discussing them, but we are not brave enough to turn this critical eye towards Islam. Gimme a break. When millions of white Swedes and Germans try to illegally immigrate into Syria and Libya then the Middle East can call the shots and dictate terms. Until then, Muslims should shut the fuck up and be glad that they are fortunate enough to be hosted by naive Euro governments.
