I own it. Played it a while back. No first person aspect, whatsoever. No multiplayer, either. Sure there are other people in the milky way with you, but you'll never run into them, just like NMS.
You play the game as a ship, not a person. The only way to leave your ship is to leave it as a vehicle, and to get that option you have to buy an expansion to the core game that costs as much as the core game. Otherwise, you have no ability to leave your ship, or to even land on planets.
I'd rate it above NMS, but SC has been a first person game since its first module, the hangar. ED has never been a multiplayer game, whereas SC has been a multiplayer game from its second module, Arena Commander.
What SC has now, for all backers from beginning to now, is first person gameplay, multiplayer gameplay, and planetary landings.
Two of which ED does not have, and the third is only available to people who pay twice the price of the core game.
For three times the price of SC, you get one of those three from ED.
If you ever watched any of the videos I post, instead of just parroting the clickbait fake news posts you regurgitate, you'd know better than to keep this up.
