You know that was already happening under 2015 NN.
DS has only been kicked off of something like twenty domain registrars. There are still a hundred or so they can burn through until they create their own. Very expensive to do so though.

That's kind of the most telling aspect of the whole NN thing.

When you have neo-liberal shills like Steven Colbert begging 4chan to raid the FCC in support of NN you know something is fucky.

Fuck the FCC. Do the opposite of what liberals say

Seems to me, the only way they could run this scam on otherwise government skeptical liberty loving Americans, is to give it the Orwellian title "Net Neutrality", who could be opposed to that?

But if you called it what it really is; undermining property rights to have the federal government pick and choose winners, set prices, and intervene in the market by political whim, would three out of four Republicans support it then?

Who the fuck do you think is top of the list to get walked out of the 21st century right now? LMFAO
2015 NN didn't prevent their sites from being taken down. They got taken down.

LMAO wut? Soundcloud banned all of their content outright and the throttling was becoming ridiculous anyway.

Wtf?

The only argument I've seen alt-right people make is one in favor of nationalization of the internet. Not something NN does.

There was definitely some Patriot Acty shit going on here, for example, prior to being subject to Title II of the Communications Act, ISP's were not liable for third party slander or libel on their service.

Making them Title II common carriers made them liable, so the ISP could be sued for anything the Daily Stormer said, because under Title II, the ISPs are considered to be the "publisher".

Same thing with the DMCA, Title II makes the ISP's liable for third party copyright violations as well, so they can be sued for that too.

If they can be sued for it, you think that's going to make them more "neutral" about what is posted on the net? Yeah right.

They don't think so... if you would ask something that wasn't what Trump is doing.

But everything that Saint Trump's administration forwards is good. And you see, it's the people they hate that are critisizing NN.

It's all that matters.
You wouldn't have internet without us. Leave.

Well I mean let's be honest. The only reason some of these sites are up is because everyone fucking wants them up. Wether it's the ADL that has to obsessively monitor them or the FBI that has to shitpost on their coffee break in between shilling for terrorists.

Well that's my theory anyway.

Nothing the government will ever. Ever. Regulate will be beneficial to people like me that enjoy edgy content.

Edit: in b4 muh ISP will ban you too though!

Not scared of that. I'll just use tor and get a new boost mobile or cricket plan.

Basically, by bringing the ISP's under Title II, all that shit that the ISP's were doing, in terms of suppressing things that they didn't like, that whole regime suddenly had a legal mandate from the federal government, Obama was entrenching that and backing it up with the FCC.

So, internet hate, internet porn, internet copyright violations, what have you, Title II takes what was subject to the market, and suddenly makes it the legal liability of the ISP's to enforce, backed up by the force of the federal government, because a public utility is not private anymore.

That ain't neutral, ain't nothing neutral about that, calling that "neutrality" is about as Orwellian as it gets.
