Ummm... I hate that outside view tanking. And basically with a tank you need a team of people. Also the gameplay looks to me a bit too arcade like. I really like simulators that are really close to the actual thing. More of the one's that you don't have to kill everything in the area, but just go along and do what you were commanded. And one thing is that is missing is the ground under the tanks... yes, you can get even tanks stuck, or with trees you can the cannon bent.

I could once play years ago the old but working "Steel Beasts" with the Leopard 2 controls they have in Parola Garrison were we have our armoured brigade (and hence armoured warfare training). Worked just well, even if the program was old and hence Graphics was old. Anyway, today far too much emphasis is put on the graphics. They had in the class then I think ten simulators and we manned about six tanks. As the reserve officer in "my tank" had been taught to command an tracked vehicle (the BUK-M1), the orders were quick and understandable and we were kicking ass until some infantry destroyed us. Too bad that our host kicked us reservists out from there as it was late.

Here btw. a nice cross-country truck driving Simulator is Spin Tires that has impressive depiction of muddy roads. It uh, does have an outside view control too.

I'm waiting for the Simulator that has similar "interactive" ground where your vehicles can get stuck and where infantrymen can do what they allways do: dig foxholes. It's one of the things missing in many simulators now. The environment starts to be a bit more adaptive as artillery fire can destroy partially buildings, but there is still a lot of things to improve.

I remember one Israeli ace saying in an interview: "If we would have changed the aircraft with our Arab enemies, we would have still kicked their asses". Even if there's a lot of swagger in saying so, there's a lot of truth in that statement.

The IDF also made the brand of the Mirage III too.

It's all about marketing, custy's wont fully commit until they've seen it in action, Libya did wonders for Rafale sales and AASM as well.

I'm not into military video games, even when I was in the military, all we played was sports games, I just play against my wife now, and she's really only into sports games as well. Her favourite games are Madden NFL football and SSX Tricky.

Actually, you do play it in first-person view. It just doesn't make for good promo pictures. It's a battle arena basically, where you start with 32-tank teams and maneuver around the map taking objectives or just killing the other players.

As you progress, you unlock tank upgrades and better tanks, beginning with little light ones, then mediums, artillery, and heavies. All of them are modeled on real WW2 era equipment, and the maps are based on real battle locations.

Also it's free - you can buy optional shortcuts through the progression, but that's it. It's well worth your time, if you're into tanks.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

That looked awesome. I used to play Armored fist around twenty years ago. It was more realistic than WoT or WT. I've played both of those though, and they're alright.

Oh hey, it's on steam. I never played 3.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
