You are flailing. How is pointing out that this woman lived parasitically off Matt Lauer's high income "championing" Matt Lauer. Matt Lauer can fall off a cliff for all I care. What I do care about is the principle.
You are a liberal here in that you support stealing from the guy who earned 99% of the assets in this marriage, and you rationalize redistributing (aka stealing) his wealth based on the fact that he is an asshole. There are consequences to being an unfaithful asshole that should not involve the state stealing half your wealth. There are consequences to crimes like sexual assault, and in the case of your own anecdotal defense, discharging a firearm in the family residence to intimidate your spouse -- and those consequences involve prosecution and jail for the crimes, not handing half or more of the man's wealth or enslaving him to the spouse because of your crackpot sense of "fairness".
In this, you really are not very different from the Seattle progressives you hate so much. Take from "the Man" because he deserves it. It's only "fair".
