Carlin and me are about the same age, we come from the same world, I've read all the books he has read, mostly in high school

that wasn't enough for me, I had to get into the trenches myself

so I don't need Carlin to tell me about what it is like in the trenches

Perhaps Common Sense was a bigger draw than he realized ? Maybe his vile attitude toward Trump drove people away ? Maybe once he was a made man he just wasn't hungry anymore ?

I can honestly say Blueprint for Armageddon was his last great shows, that was 2015. The quality and certainly quantity hasn't been there.

Hardcore History is not what he puts in his shows, it's more like Howard Zinn than anything

what Carlin does is called "vignettes", except vignettes are supposed to be short, while Carlin stretches them out to five hours pointlessly

His best work is the Wrath of the Khans series. If you can’t get into that, fair enough. But it’s by far the most popular.
