Why add just a dash of salt when you can add the whole container?
Why do you settle for $11/hour, that's not enough to pay for Islay single malt, why don't you demand more?
There's a certain point where it is self defeating. I've worked private sector all my life in shitty jobs, so when people talk about surplus labor, I'm like, "uhh, where?" I can't think of a job except my current one where we weren't running bare minimum labor to squeeze out every last dime out of labor. No overtime, ever. Hell when I first began Walmart expected me to clock out and finish my stuff, fuck right off with that. Smitty, be honest, you're not on labor's side, most of this board isn't for one reason or another, so talking about improving labor's conditions is like trying to convert Lucifer. You'd have a different opinion if you were here next to me.
Improve yourself, improve your conditions, you don't honestly think that If I needed money, I would settle for minimum wage, do you? I mean, ca'mon, I can hustle when I need to hustle, mate, I could sell ice to eskimos, if you're a filthy immigrant just off the boat, or a teenager with no work experience, ok, then might have to take a min wage job, at first at least, but honestly, it ain't the great depression you make it out to be, Jedi, you're simply self defeated by your lack of confidence in yourself, whereas I have supreme confidence in myself, to be able rustle up a heck of a lot more than $11/hour.
And frankly, I've done plenty of hard jobs, jobs that would break a man like you, make no mistake.
