Social integration is a dynamic and structured process in which all members participate in dialogue to achieve and maintain peaceful social relations. Social integration does not mean forced assimilation.

Social integration is focused on the need to move toward a safe, stable and just society by mending conditions of social disintegration and social exclusion—social fragmentation, exclusion and polarization; and by expanding and strengthening conditions of social integration—towards peaceful social relations of coexistence, collaboration and cohesion.

Sounds to me that the right doesn't want integration either then. Polarization, exclusion and social fragmentation are all tools of the right. ''send them back'' is almost a definition of exclusion. ''they are different and are not compatible'' is classic polarization. Fragmentation - ''don't want them in my neighbourhood''.
Which is more likely to lead to a safe, stable and just society? Acceptance of differences between cultures or an attitude of ''they don't belong here''.

You got it backwards. Most people are willing to welcome others who are willing and able to be part of society. When people come here and it appears as if they have no interest in learning the language, getting a job or even showing their faces, just partaking in the benefits on offer, that's when the cries for "sending them back" comes. We've had centuries of successful immigration to compare with. The MENA "refugees" stand out like a sore thumb. It's not working. It has to be apparent to everyone by now.

Perhaps Americans are inclined to wet their pants over this sort of thing, few things these days that Americans don't wet their pants over, but sectarian violence is nothing new to the United Kingdom, nor is paramilitary security in response to, there was no cause to deport Catholics, but when they went off on one of their sectarian rampages, was of course prudent to mobilize HM Armed Forces in aid to the civil power, it's nothing to wet your pants over, just MI5, UKSF, and HQ Home Command going about their business, keep calm and carry on.

It would appear that Montegriffo is a little confused about what multiculturalism is. It has nothing to do with integration. The whole idea multiculturalism is that immigrants will enrich our culture by not integrating. They are supposed be a counterweight to the Phallogocentric western values that are causing the oppression of every definable minority group in our society.

Integration would only serve to reinforce and normalise the existing power structures so the left doesn't want any of that.

They integrated and now are an essential part of our culture. The idiots nowadays would be mad at non Italian-Americans eating pasta and non-German Americans eating sausage.
