The Luftwaffe didn't have unlimited petroleum to burn, vainly flying willy nilly around. Every move was a stratagem and gambit. They were untouchable in their prudence and skill.

We demolished them, and their panzers were reduced to targets of opportunity for the Army Air Corps.

The allied strategic bombing campaign is what wound up destroying the Luftwaffe.

The dark green is on. This is the color they used in Korea. I painted it olive drab over the weekend, but that turned out to be the wrong color.

Those little bastards make life miserable. Most important provisions for St. George Island: Max strength DEET and max strength citronella.

Lots of Marlboro smoke helps also. I quit that habit several years ago, but its one time I don't mind some second hand smoke now.
