I missed last week's fifth column.

Why didn't anyone tell me Kmele and the gang eviscerated John Lewis? I'm a half hour into it, and right as I pulled up to the house, Thaddeus Russell comes off the top rope with an elbow to the throat,
In that particular exchange, Trump was correct, and, as a matter of fact, John Lewis has been all talk since 1965.

I listened to the first half of this week's episode earlier today. Not sure you're gonna be a fan... let me know.

I used to love Stuff You Missed in History Class, but the current cast is not listenable. I can't wait until they get replaced so I can start listening again. They are truly terrible at delivering the written word. They've had the job at least two years, now. I miss that podcast.

Same boat here. I've had the issue with all the Stuff you should know podcasts (not all from cast changes though).

Who recommended Archive 81? Halfway through the first season and I'm loving it.

I really like the fictional narrative podcasts like Twilight Histories and this Archive 81. New age of radio shows and its awesome

The Deep Vault is fun too. More gory and crazy, but it's made by the same group.

Pankaj Mishra, author of Age of Anger: a History of the Present gives a brief interview at the Carnegie Council explaining why everyone's so pissed off right now. He places the blame on the failure of liberal principles to deliver on promises of increased welfare and stability to large segments of society here and abroad.
