I don't disagree. My side of island is is still somewhat red but we are going to get swallowed up eventually. Next stop for me is a different country but I have to have decent internet service. (I am now weighing that requirement.) The contagion is real.

It won't be the 'conspiracy theory, anti vaxxers' that riot, it will be the those that followed the Experts. There will be about 20% that never leave the cult, but there will be a significant number of people that eventually comes to terms with how badly they were betrayed. These people will become unhinged.

I am not so sure about that. Today I saw a lady riding bikes with her two 7ish to 9ish year old boys outside. No helmets, wearing flip flops in shorts and tank tops wearing MASKS.

High school let out nearby to where I am currently working. 60-70% of the kids walking home were wearing masks. Groups of 15-20 kids walking together all wearing masks. I was pretty disheartened with how deep this psyop has taken hold. There is a whole generation that will never know anything different. America is forever altered. That which was might as well never have been because these people live in a different reality. (All of this took place on the "Town" side of the island" )

Man, almost no one wears a mask here. Those that do, are starting to be looked at like weirdos.

It's that time of year again, time to get my required flu shot for work.

What's telling is that while my company still requires a COVID vaccine for employment, they are not requiring boosters or annual shots like the flu. That is really telling about both COVID and the vaccines.

A team of nine experts from Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and other top universities has published paradigm-shifting research about the efficacy and safety of the COVID-19 vaccines and why mandating vaccines for college students is unethical.
This 50-page study, which was published on The Social Science Research Network at the end of August, analyzed CDC and industry-sponsored data on vaccine adverse events, and concluded that mandates for COVID-19 boosters for young people may cause 18 to 98 actual serious adverse events for each COVID-19 infection-related hospitalization theoretically prevented.

Same here. Maybe 1% of people in my area wear a mask and they get made fun of and rightly so.

Companies have been trying to get clever with it and it's worded as "if you refuse the shot we consider that your resignation". Not sure how that comes out in court, but most people don't have the resources or energy to put into a long, expensive lawsuit.

We shouldn't make it easy for them either. We can turn this back on them, especially if you are able to find a Doctor that is actually looking out for you. Which can be hard.

You can say, Yes, I'm willing to get the shot, I just need approval from my doctor and ensure it's safe. And we can ask them if they are willing to sign a letter assuming responsibility for any negative impacts to your life for the mandated shot.
