Good luck to her, my son was almost born at 24 weeks... I know how scary it was. Best of luck and hope the kid pulls through without any issues. Knowing all you can do it watch and wait is sometimes the worst for parents and family...

I know I was like that when I couldn't even hold my son after he came out, My wife held him for a minute after they spent almost five minutes getting him to breathe. I had to wait almost two whole days before they took him out of the NCU to say that his lungs were clear of liquids. Worst two days of my life, watching him in the incubator was one of the hardest things I ever had to do... and hope never have to do again.

Not for someone who is willing to stab me in the back as soon as it's safe to. No. You may be willing to accept help from someone like him, but I can't in good faith do so. It goes against my beliefs and any respect I hold for myself would be sullied. My family was military, I was the first generation not able to serve because I was born with Epilepsy.

I know military when I hear it, I know bullshit when I hear it too, and I hear a ton more bullshit than military out of him. I have family in all branches, most are now retired but during that time they were either special forces or front line. Smitty may be able to get past most of you because you want to have a small number of people to believe in you, but I will not sacrifice my integrity over wanting to be liked.

I hang around here because I respect the hell out of you, the rest of the people to some various degrees, Smitty is on the lower end of that spectrum. He has backstabbed quite a few of us in the past for convenience, and I refuse to allow someone back into my fold that is willing to do that to get some various political points at the time.
