USA's press was brutal, England never had time on the ball.
Shame about the offside, that was a beautiful goal.

If you have any leftist loons around you might get a cement milkshake to the head for cultural appropriation or cultural insensitivity for wearing it.

That's a badass logo. I'm too old for jerseys of course, but I might get a tshirt. Duchene was on one of our local sports radio shows just after he signed the other day and was talking about how he purposely chose Nashville because he loved the city and the fans, etc, etc, blah blah. In talking about all the places he has played, he was very complimentary of the Swedes in general and the Frolunda fans and team in particular. I thought you'd get a kick out of that. Everything Swedish is gold-plated to Nashville hockey fans.Hastur wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 2:08 amIf you have any leftist loons around you might get a cement milkshake to the head for cultural appropriation or cultural insensitivity for wearing it.

He was very popular among the Frölunda fans during his short lockout stint. That was a crazy season. He scored a lot of important points. 4 goals and 14 points in 19 games. He got a looooooong standing ovation after his last game. Pretty unusual over here.Fife wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 5:54 amThat's a badass logo. Sweden v Netherlands off to a slow start.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Two defensive teams, both desperate for the first goal.

Haven't seen anything to worry USA here tonight.

If there was a problem, we'd be forced to deploy the boys from the high school senior soccer team out of Topeka.

I bet you can't commemorate your ten thousandth post with a witty poem.
Nashville Predators desperate for a 1C,
So they trade away a bunch of RHD's.
A $9 million cap dump to bring in Duchene,
He's a 2C, not a 1C, that's truly a shame.
Overpaying 2C's is what Dave Poille does,
Preds will pay the price, despite the buzz.
