Fantastic books - read them in college.

I think you made the point, though. It's not about what he says, but how. He speaks off the cuff without any insight or information. He just tosses words into a bowl and makes a word salad and pukes it out at people. Most of it ends up being not true. It's just.... odd.
Odd sure, but if his unorthodox way of speaking is the best criticism you have of Trump, he must be doing one hell of a job in your world. Yet your posts fail to reflect that, and you want to spend all your time on small ball quirks of his that rub you the wrong way, in some lame attempt to justify your view of Trump as an idiot, why is that? If you feel so strongly about this surely you have better evidence of Trump's idiocy than "I don't like how he talks", I'm waiting.....

Hmmm. When did Hash make a rule that I can only criticize Trump if it's the best criticism I have? He should have told me.
Account abandoned.

I wonder if Trump could figure out something really complicated, like this:

"She had yellow hair and she walked funny and she made a noise like... O my God, please don't kill me! "

Well if you have better criticisms of Trump, then you sure are saving them for a rainy day and focusing on nothing burger nitpicky nonsense in the meantime. I await the day you actually have something better than "I don't like the way Trump talks, he just sounds like an idiot to me".

Yeah I think Titanic really soured me on him for years but after the departed and the revenant I'm completely 180 on my original assessment.

Yeah from Titanic until Gangs of New York, I had completely written him off. Ever since he's been dynamite, sometimes shitty actors turn into gems, DiCaprio is a prime example of this phenomenon.

I think Trump is far more intelligent than people give him credit for, but I do think he does a lot of risky extemporaneous speaking. Sometimes, he hits it out of the park. Other times, he talks himself into a corner. It is always interesting to watch though. Perhaps this sort of speaking does resonate with the people. On a subconscious level, it appeals to me when any kind of person in power speaks in an unscripted way, even if I don't agree with them, and even if they come off as uninformed. It makes them seem more like a human. This might make me stupid, but I think many Americans feel this way.

Yeah. He is a pretty prolific director. One of my favorites. Wolf of Wall Street was his latest leo collaboration, which I had lukewarm feelings about.

Someone gets it. This is precisely why Trump speaks the way he does. He can speak all technical and lawyer like when he needs to, that just doesn't play well for his brand as a politician so he chooses not to.

Gangs of New York is my all time favorite movie
No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session
