The next bubble looks like it might be the Bond market. Bubbles are notoriously hard to predict though.
What kind of bonds specifically? I read a book that talked about how the bond market was a lot more narrow before Michael Milken and his expansion of the junk bond market into questionable places. From my understanding, bonds were a safe place to put your money, but they were very low yielding. Now, they seem to be just as uncertain as everything else. There are people on this thread saying even treasury bills could be fucked (I think they are right btw) so it baffling to me where I should put my money. I don't have much, but I am getting to the age where I should invest, and nothing seems safe. I feel like I am walking into a minefield.

I don't care if that shark could rip the cage to piece, Scheider did not have any better suggestions.

Bonds in general.

But here the nation states and their central banks still have many tricks in the sleeves. For example, the EU or the US simply can force large institutional investors (like pension funds, insurance companies, etc.) to buy government bonds. And lets not forget that already the Federal Reserve is the biggest owner US treasuries. Hence the money printing is working just fine.

There is a possibility of some structural crisis, but it's only a possibility. Not the likely outcome in the near future.

And remember that you can have an ordinary pullback in stocks, not a speculative bubble bursting. After all, this bull market in stocks has gone on for many years now.

I wonder when will Trump's popularity/approval rating will hit as low as George W. Bush had it at worst times.

The way things are going, that day will come sooner or later.

How can the banks force private companies and investors to buy bonds?

Trump's approval rating is up 3.3 points in the last month, from 39.8% 43.1%. Just because more folks on the MHF are losing faith in him, that doesn't mean that the electorates mood is the same.
