This I have some experience with in graduate school. They actually care very much about differentiating legitimate reviews from fake reviews. They don't mind bad reviews. They actually want accurate data to show to their customers. It's the fake ones that are very, very hard to differentiate. If you can develop an algorithm that can do this with sufficient precision and low false positives, Jeff Bezos will pay you good money (seriously).
