Apples and Oranges. When you attend a game in person, you don't stay seated during the national anthem, everyone knows this. If you stay seated during the national anthem and you don't have a medical reason you can't stand while you make a scene to draw attention to yourself, then you're very likely to get your ass kicked, or at the very least receive an epic shunning from everyone around you. If you don't want to rise for the anthem, then wait until after the anthem to head to your seat, that's the respectful thing to do. You don't protest in the stands during the anthem, like someone with a death wish.
