My major is mechanical. I'm a math tutor on campus as well. Primarily the cal II students right now. My boss pointed out that learning it is one thing, teaching it is another. Says I'll be an expert by the end of the semester.

It's too bad there wasn't much in our curriculum about historical materials/methods, because it's really interesting stuff.

It's only certain majors that get the history electives. Math majors for instance. Fellow tutors are taking classes on stuff like that, and they don't even appreciate it.
