Do you think that women have a natural urge to tear down men and destroy them? I don't think its always the case, but I think Eve giving Adam the fruit is very telling. Samson and Delilah etc. The Jews might have made all those stories up, but I think they are very accurate in many ways. My mom has even told me as much. If women are subconsciously set on destructing the guy they have children with, what would the evolutionary advantage be? That is what I don't get. In a hunter gatherer brutal world, or even a homeric world, if you destroyed your husband, you would in all likelihood become a sex slave of another man, or die out in the elements. Seems like women are maladapted.

Maybe that's why they haven't really run societies for very long, and probably why they never will successfully.
