Nihilistic atheism isn’t that fascinating to me.
And I know enough super chimps to assure you beyond a doubt they are not god.

Deism is not atheism.

The God of the Hebrews is mathematically plausible.

3D simulation Universe.

Unlikely to be a Super Jew tho,

Whatever the God of the Hebrews is, that he was a radical Rabbi from Nazareth seems rather metaphorical.

Was Thomas Jefferson a magical thinker?

I think not.

Did Thomas Jefferson really accept that the Creator of the Universe was a Jew?

I think not.

That all came from the Second Great Awakening 1790-1820.

Thomas Jefferson was no Temperance Lady.

Do I give a fuck what Thomas Jefferson thought about eternity?
Nope.
He’s dead, and theology wasn’t his strong suit anyway.

Next.

Thomas Jefferson was the Creator.

George Washington was a General.

Washington's job was to win the war.

The Creator who endowed the rights, was Jefferson.

Not gods.
Great men.

Great men, but Jefferson was the de facto Secretary of the Constitution.

Jefferson is the one who had to herd the cats.

To include Charleston and the slaves.

Have to win the war first.

Slavery; we'll deal with that after.

Case in point, Jefferson couldn’t even protect states rights, losing to Hamilton’s vision of a strong central government.
Definitely not god.
See commandment #1 of 10.
;)

God don’t lose, and he don’t power share.
Sure as hell never sacrifices sovereignty.

It all came from the Lowland Scots.

The Scots-Irish.

Orangemen.

Ulster men.

But Jefferson & Co took it next level.

Yes, the Pope in Rome is an Enemy of Freedom.

But so is Martin Luther.

Martin Luther uber alles was never the intent.

It was simply hijacked in the Second Great Awakening.

Not that I'm complaining about Protestant America.

But that's not how the Framers framed it.
